The
Cycling route from Sichuan plain to loess plateau, pioneered by GBI,
is adventurous and picturesque, it has been designed because of it's variety and its
contact China the seldom seen by visitors.
After a visit to Dujiangyan Conservancy Project in north-west of
Chengdu, connecting a drive to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou for a sightseeing tour in the
fairy land. Further we enter into Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to commence our
cycling tour. A lovely ride from Hongyuan-Xiahe-Linxia on the vast, wildly beautiful
grassland offers a rare opportunity to experience the Tibetan's hospitality and a tour at
the loess plateau.
En route we will also visit the most important lamasery outside Tibet-Labrang. Then we
drive to Lanzhou, flying for Xi'an to visit its world wonder-the Terra Cotta Army of Qin
Dynasty. Finishing our trip by flying to Guangzhou and returning Hongkong by train.
