This itinerary is designed for those lovers of Kham and Amdo Tibetan Culture. We travel north across Yangtse and into the high grassland of Kham and Amdo, crossing the path of wandering nomads, their tented encampments and huge caravans of yaks, sheep and horses. A chance to see the true lives of Kham and Amdo Tibetan nomads, in addition, we will have a chance to visit the Yellow Hat and Red Hat monasteries where housed over two thousand Tibetan monks until today's date.

The annual highlight for Tibetans in this area is a ten-day fair featuring horse race where is going to be taken place in Litang, set at 4,000 meters on the Khampa Tibeta Plateau, ranks among the highest settlement in the world. Very few westerners have ever witnessed the jubilee, which is strikingly reminiscent to the rendezvous of the Old West. The men don traditional costumes and display their master horsemanship with daring races and games, while beautiful Tibetan dancing warms the high mountain air.
