Tibet perched on a high mountain plateau, is the world's most remote and mysterious land
and has tantalized explorers for centuries. We take dramatic flight at sunrise from
Chengdu to Lhasa and our programs covers the Holy Tibet's greatest sites: the Potala
Palace in Lhasa, the citadel of Gyantse, the fabled Tashilunpo Monastery in Shigtase, the
spectacular drive along the Kichu River, cross the Gompa-la pass with excellent view of
the Turquoise Lake - Yamtso.
From home of the Panchen
Lama Shigatse, we drive back to Lhasa and take the exciting flight over the mountainous
old province of Kham to Chengdu.
