Reservations

    Trip application is required for reservation and we would need US$ 200 per person as a deposit to confirm your reservation, and the balance 60 days prior to departure.

Visa & Travel Permits

    The visa fee is not included. However, if trip members need assistance, we can send the visa authorization to members who can apply visa from the Chinese Embassy of your home country. In such a case, we need passengers’ full information including name, sex, date of birth, nationality, occupation, home address, passport number and valid date.

    The procedures for obtaining travel permits for some of the remote regions that we go to, especially Tibet, should be carried out well in advance. We must submit passengers’ full information (same as above), together with evidence of full payment at least 60 days before departure.

Deadline

    In order to make sure that we have all the paperwork in order before departure, and that we can have the guides and vehicles of your choice, our deadline for the booking as well as full payment is 60 days before departure. However, this does not exclude the possibility of late bookings.

Land Cost

    Land Cost in Mainland China includes: All transfers, all domestic flights/trains/cruises/local airport taxes, land transport, 3 meals daily, service of guide and driver, sightseeing & entrance fees, tourist class hotels on twin share basis, tents in camping section, support horse/yaks and herders during trekking, a welcome and a farewell banquet. In China Hong Kong includes: All airport transfers, bed and breakfast, tourist class hotel on twin share basis. In Nepal: Airport transfers, bed and breakfast, accommodations on twin share basis, sightseeing & entrance fees, service of guide and driver, tour bus or jeep or van, porter service at the Nepal/China border. In Pakistan: All transfers, 3 meals a day, sightseeing & entrance fees, service of guide and driver, tour bus or jeep or van, tourist class hotels on twin share basis.

    Landcost excludes: International flights and related airport taxes, supplementary trips and services not mentioned, personal expenses, visa costs, tips to tour guide and driver, supplement cost for those who wants to accommodate on a single basis.

Delays

    The cost of delays is not included if any trips has to be delayed because of bad weather, road condition, river levels, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness or other contingency for which China Golden Bridge Travel Service Ltd or its agents and partners can not make provision.

Payment Terms

    The payment is required to be sent to our account by bank transfer. A copy of wire transfer from trip member is required by fax or mail. We will send an original receipt to trip members by airmail after receiving of full payment.

Cancellation Policy

    A written notice is required for tour cancellation and the following fees will apply:

More than 90 days before departure Full refund

60 to 90 days before departure US$200 per person

30 to 59 days before departure 50% of tour cost

Less than 30 days before departure 100% of tour cost

Refund

    No partial refund will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips or trek arrangements for any reason whatsoever. Land Cost is quoted as a package and credit are not given for unused services.

Responsibilities of Trip Members

    Trip members have certain responsibilities to China Golden Bridge Travel Service Ltd and other members: trip members are responsible for comprehending the condition implied in the trip itinerary which is appropriate to their interests and abilities; for acting in an appropriate and respectful manner in accordance with the customs of China. A member may be asked to leave the trip if his or hers further participation may be detrimental to other members or to individual.

Limitations of Liability

    China Golden Bridge Travel Service Ltd., its owners, outfitters, agents and employees give notice that they act only as agents for the owners, contractors, and suppliers providing means of transport, hotel accommodation, meals, and/or all other related travel services, and assume no responsibility howsoever caused for problems arising in transportation or hotel arrangements beyond its control or ownership, nor of any loss, injury or damage to person or property howsoever caused, in connection with any service resulting directly from: acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeur, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in transport or hotel services over which it has no control.

    China Golden Bridge Travel Service Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw such a tour or any part of it, to alter the itinerary if necessary, to refuse to accept or retain any tour member for any reason whatsoever, and to pass on to tour members any undue expenses incurred through delays or events beyond their control, either directly in China, or, if after the event, through the depositor herein with whom the tour members have booked the tour. On advancement of deposit to China Golden Bridge Travel Service Ltd. the depositor therefore agrees to be bound by the above cited terms and conditions.

Airline Clause

    Airline carriers are not responsible for omissions or events occurring when passengers are not on board their aircraft, and while on board, their normal conditions of carriage invariably apply.

Baggage

    In China the baggage allowance is restricted to 20kg per person. A 'reasonable' amount of hand luggage is allowed, however travelers should be warned that they will be solely responsible for any excess incurred.
