Tour Spotlight: Home of the Giant Pandas-Heaven on Earth
TIBET REUNION
As one of the pioneering field operators for Tibet tourism, our Managing
Director, Guo Shan Ling,
is going to lead a multi-national, non-profit tour to Tibet in early September. The group members
of this tour are all friends who, together, helped open up the tourist industry there in the early
1980's. Funds raised by this event will go to China's Hope Project and "Spark Action" Education
Project. These two charities aim to help improve the infrastructure for education in Tibet. This
charity drive has been a long time goal for these old friends who want to give something back to
the society they shared and loved.

TOUR SPOTLIGHT: HOME OF THE GIANT PANDAS-HEAVEN ON EARTH:
Perhaps the most adored of all wild animals, the giant panda has always inspired affection and
wonder. It symbolizes the exotic of China. It's unlikely appearance and loveable nature made it
an early choice for protection by the Chinese Government and the World Wildlife Fund, whose
panda logo can be seen around the world. Our videotaping project of a year ago, in conjunction
with WSB TV Atlanta (an ABC affiliate) has inspired much interest in this tour.
This tour takes you to the panda sanctuaries and reserves of Wolong and Fengtongzhai; the
grasslands, monasteries, and villages of Hongyuan on the Tibetan Plateau; and the UNESCO
World Heritage Sites of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong with their hundred blue lakes, green forests,
and snow capped peaks-it's a nature photographer's dream!
